I believe that We have an 8.2 rear in the garage with 478 gears that is 68 or 69 date coded. I’ll have to look. This car comes up on my account as well

Nick, its kind of janky how they do it, but I just looked at Fall 21 results (they require an email to do it) and limited it to Buick. Its the first that comes up. Congrats btw.

Interesting, gives me an idea ,at least as a starting point, what a "real" Stage 2 4speed may be worth.

Any other Stage 2 4 speed would be just as real would t it?

My car was owned by Ed McHam It had the Stage 2 heads (Over counter Dealer purchased) Kustom headers ,B4B & Old Holley it was sold to George Barger in NC Then to Bill Lagna who kept the Stage 2 Heads & other parts& installed on his GSX.
It has correct the 4:78 Gears & the ON rear . The Original BB trans should have been sold with the car.

Stark Trexler here on V8 raced the car @ BG & was a friend of ED Mcham.

I believe this was how ED bought the car. The car showed & titled 22k .this was a Race car for many years & had sat outside weather beaten with some of the original paint.

I converted it to a four speed & put my Stage2 Heads & other parts on it.

You did an outstanding job restoring this historic car. I would've loved to have it sitting next to mine. I also knew Ed and he loved unique and rare Buick equipment. His dual quad Qjet manifold and Janells fuel injected 455 were always attention getters.

I get that , but both are bonafied Stage 2 cars. So once modified I see little difference. Yes I would prefer the 4 speed over an auto all day. I guess it’s just a matter of Symantec’s to me.

You are right. Numbers matching everything, original paint and interior. 18k miles.
