Its official! I now have a 69 GS 350 (for sale) AND a newly aquired 69 GS California ! The California is a little rough, mainly around the roof/vinyl areas, I'm afraid there's gonna be some bad rust there... However the rest of the car seems rust free. Fenders and hoods are in good shape which is great... This is the first car I've had with the high compression 350... my GS350 has a 9:1 70 engine but has a GS114 cam.. I don't think the cam is enough to make up for the high compression, though I think the GS350 will take the other car on the top end... The California has lots of torque and lights up the tires easily, even 255/60/15's... It pings when floored but I'll get that all straightened out soon enough.. This car has disc brakes (from a 70 GS 455), power steering, and a/c... Not much else... Someone put mustang bucket seats in it and replaced the carpet... Its not to bad inside except the back seat is torn up pretty bad at the top and the headliner is umm, in pieces... I think for now the car is just gonna be a driver, then later on will probably become a parts car... :Brow: :Brow:
