I Have Air Adjustable shocks on my 65 Wildcat, I have been looking and trying to find out if they were an option on the car when it was new? Also how many pounds of pressure should I use? I can't read the writing on them to see how many pounds are the Max and the Min? Does anyone know?

They were an option, usually intended for towing. Put enough air in them to bring the car level and you're in business. A little over (for a rake) is ok, but too much will blow them.

Try 20# , then 10# up each time till it sits level . Too much air raises the rear tooo high and the wieght transfers to the front end and will cause early wear on front end parts . Besides the fact the ride will suffer also from too much air .

Hope that helps ya ... :pp

I run with 60psi, it raised the rear about 1 inch, just a little rake, and a nice ride. Minimum is typically 20 psi, max is (I think) 100psi. Should be able to go to "gabriel.com", or your local parts store and find the max psi.

DON'T run with less than the minimum, it ruins the lift bladders. Unless you've got a TON of stuff in the trunk, it's hard to overpressure them, the rear end just keeps coming up, looking sillier and sillier.
