Can anyone tell me if there are raised letter decals available like original 455 air cleaner stickers? If so who is selling them? Year One and everyone else has "flat" decals, but i can't find any raised letter decals. Thanks in advance.
I would like to see a pic of the raised letters decal, so if you come across one post it please, and is this raised decal a factory option, and if so for what years of skylarks, and what models?
So persay when I get my 455 in my car then for a 72 these would be the correct decals? And on top of that how well do they stick on the air cleaner itself, I have purchased about 10 sets from year one because the heat gets to the decals and they bubble after no time at all, so I replace them all the time just for the look factor of not having bubbles in the decal after it submites to the heat. So how well do these ones stand up to the heat, and will they last?
So you are saying these raised decals are factory ones. meaning replicas of the factory of course? And where do you guy the raised ones?
Andy, you will find there is no better decal than the one's you can get from John Csordas(Skyhawk). The majority of us have these on our Buicks and they look great! Give John a call(845-528-GSGN) and tell him what you need.
Next question is do you have to trim them to size at all, I ask this because the year one decals I had to trim, and this is obviously for a stock ram air cleaner.
That's a new one for me o No: I can't imagine why you would have to cut one of these. The area that the decals fit on is pretty big. John's decal require no trimming.
