Anyone do their Regals with aftermarket guages? We're about ready to redo the dash and have new Autometer speedo / tach / water / oil / fuel / temp setup. Looking for layout suggestions, pics and tips on how you mounted them. We have the non-turbo GN style dash in our 84. Thanks, Sean
check postons they have one already made with VDO electric gauges -costs a bit but atleast its all done
Hi Guys, Vern....I don't have a turbo car either but Tom (GNX.com) will make whatever you like (expensive though....:Smarty: ). Here's a pic of the one I designed for my '86 and that he put together for me. One of these days I hope to finally get it installed in the car. These are all Autometer Ultra Lite Full-Sweep Electric so I have no worries of a possible oil or trans line bursting inside the car and they are guaranteed to be as accurate as mechanical guages.:TU:
Kerry, You Suck. You have all the cool stuff. :moonu:  Thanks for the pics. I really like the extra touch line lock, trans brake, NOS lights. :TU: Per my signature info I got the alky kit but have not got the guage package yet. You know performance first. Eventually I'll get one of his dash kits in my GN. On my Cutlass I made all the factory ralley pac guages work with my Cad motor. BTW have not been there recently but I liked your website and projects. Ever get any satisfaction on the stuff that was stolen?
Thanks Vern. I've noticed that Snow Performance has recently released a N/A version of their Alky Injection Kit which I plan on incorperating into my Regal a little later after I'm able to.:TU: Your Cutlass definately sounds like it's NOT "Gut-less"! Nope it's been over 4 years now and everything has just plain "vanished" I guess.o No: Of course the police around here pretty much want the public to solve the crimes for them. "Detective" or "Investigator" are just NOT the most descriptive words I can think of for them even though they think they have appropriate titles. Basically...No Crime Stopper tips....no solv'a da crime around these parts!:af:
I tried tracking down the gauges posted above and had a rough time. The actual URL is www.gnxdash.com. www.gnx.com is some sort of produce wholesaler.
Thanks for that correction Ron!:TU: I got my dash from Tom back last fall before Christmas and it's been patiently sitting in it's box awaiting installation. I didn't even try to lookup his web-address again....but gnx.com looked right.:grin:ou: Thanks again...
Wow I'm confused. When I first posted that link it would bring you to the same page that gnxdash does now. o No:
