Opportunity to buy my old engine back.......Again. Lack of time/patience to do the necessary fabrication to change engine combo. A long talk with Bobb Makley..... ---------- Post added at 10:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:01 PM ----------
Good to see you out again Gary! Your MPH seems down some. Do you think the cowl vs. forward facing scoop caused it?
I would say no. I still have to build an airpan and th next two passes were both 9.57's at 139 + which is pretty decent for my little cylinder heads. It's been 141 in some fall Michigan air near sea level.
I had the flat hood from VFN but the only cowl scoop that fits our long hoods is from Glasstek....It blends well with the front slope and goes to the windshield.
Now I know how my car is going to look with the cowl hood. If I can't find one already done, I am going to cut my flat-VFN hood.
