I am going to be buying some new adjustable rear shocks for the race car, right now it has the competition engineering adjustables on it and they are old and need replaced.
When i get the new set, should they be set at the 50/50 set or at the 70/30 setting? I think that the ones on the car now were set at 70/30 on one and 50/50 on the other, should they be set the same?

    Thanks

They don't have to be set the same. In fact, they probably won't end up the same. If you're going to buy new ones, take the plunge and get QA-1's. You'll have 12 settings and you can dial it in alot better. If you really have some extra money, look at Afco.

    Have fun

Thanks, i have actually been looking at the QA1's.
Are those the ones that you have under your car? I know that if you are hooking that good with a 9 inch tire that i shouldnt have any problems at all then. The suspension under mine is has stock control arms top and bottom (bottoms are boxed) with Moroso trick springs, air bags and adjustable shocks and i couldnt get anything bigger than a 9 inch tire under it unless i start cutting some.

    Thanks

Yep. I have Qa1's on this car and I also had them on the previous car I used to race.

Your set-up should work pretty good. You might want to think about solid bushings in the top and bottom. Either Del-a-Lum in the stock locations, or complete tubular arms with Del-a-Lum or heim joints. Also, adjustable upper bars would allow pinion angle adjustment. Anit-roll bars help a TON. It's only money! :eek2:

    Have fun.
