Adjust odometer

    I was not able to successfully get any information from the speedometer rebuilders out there that are recommended. and with USPS having massive shipping delays, I'm not comfortable mailing mine off to one of them anyways. that being said, I managed to secure one from a vehicle here locally but the odometer is about 40,000 miles off. Can someone tell me how to adjust the new speedometer to the current miles on the vehicle without having to use a drill to fast forward it which I'm thinking would take quite a number of days to do.

    Never mind, I just took the old wheel from the old odometer and put it into the new one.
