    Thank you, everyone.
Surgery is scheduled for April 23rd, 3 weeks from today. Supposed to last about an hour and go home. As many of you know, it is the recovery time to let it all heal up that is tough. I'm not one to sit still much, but I'm going to figure something out so I can heal up quick and get back at it.

Best of luck to you Mark. If I lived close enough I'd offer to help you hit the gym (as carefully as possible). I've gone back to school and soon I'll be working to rehab these exact kinds of injuries, all I can really say is make good friends at the therapy gym and discuss your auto business in detail with the doctors on a regular basis. That should help keep you from overdoing it while allowing you to get work done and rebuilding your muscles

Hope the surgeons treat you well too :)

Prayers lifted and best wishes to you for healing. Good luck with therapy. Remember, what happens in therapy stays there and you can do anything you need to to get the joints moving again.

Ditto here as well. Thinking of you as you travel this road to healing and full recovery. As others have said, pay attention to the exercises the doctors and the physiotherapists have you perform.

Surgery still a few days away. I've been going through cardiac testing as my cardiologist wasn't so sure I should have surgery based on issues he found. After 4 different test, I go back to him on Tuesday to see if I he thinks its safe for me to have the shoulder surgery on Wednesday morning. I'll post some updates.

We all have situations, illness, circumstances, death, etc that we deal with each day. Everybody does. My life is in God's hands and has been for a long time. I've tried to pull it away many times through the years, but the path leads back. I ask for prayers because I believe in the power of prayer. Please don't mistake my request as a whine or complaint (although I might complain and whine) about my circumstances. I'll take them and not trade with anybody in any situation. Please pay attention to anyone that request a prayer for whatever reason they have. It's not a competition.

And thanks Richie for starting your thread. It got a little action, and people miss it, so stay in touch.

And, I'm also thankful for a public board that allows this section for us. Thanks Jim and V8buick.com

    Well put, Mark.

I am praying that your cardiologists determine your condition is low risk for surgery and that the surgery you have is effective and leads to the best outcome possible.

    Happy Easter

Update, no surgery today. Cardiologist said too risky, too many issues going on there. He came in the room and started down a long list of problems. First procedure will be a VT Ablation to try to repair areas so I can get a normal heart beat. I often have 3 partial beats in a row, with only one side pumping. Once they do this procedure, hopefully next week I can get my shoulder fixed. Then go back and fix the hole in my heart, aortic and mitral valves, enlarged areas, etc, my wife was writing down the list of heart defects/issues as fast as she could. Great new cardiologist though, and I do believe God led me to him. Spent almost two hours with us in the busy office yesterday, calling hospital and other docs to help get me worked in.
I was certainly not expecting any of this.

I feel like a Buick. Can't fix my body fast enough to keep it going!!

You guys are my friends. In this day and age of technology, I am closer to many of you than any other humans. So thank you for listening, and for the prayers. All of this is more frustrating than dangerous (I hope), but would be dangerous if not fixed quickly.

    Thanks again

    Update.
Will be scheduling a VT Ablation to try to locate the damage area of heart and stop the bad signals. I currently have over 15% of heartbeats are partial beats! and that's while on my meds. This surgery should be in 2 weeks or so, and is done by heart cath. I can then have my shoulder surgery, then go back and have the hole in my heart fixed. So three surgeries coming up back to back. I still have other heart issues, but they will evaluate my bad valves after all this is done and go from there.

Great news is, of the issues I have, they have the technology to fix them. With my heart beating right, I should feel a lot better also.

Thank you all again for listening, caring, praying for me.
