    Stg1Regal Yep Traction Issues!:)

Looking at a 76 Buick Lesabre Custom..

What all suspension upgrades can be done?
Swaybars, springs, better bushings , arms , front and rear..
Anything interchanges with other B bodies?
Also what exhaust kit can be used for true dual exhaust?
    What crossmember?

    Thanks

There is not a lot of aftermarket support for these. Polyurethane bushing replacements are an option if you don't mind the squeaking. I believe nekkidhillbilly has some knowledge of more possible options, but don't expect much more.

As far as exhaust, there are no kits special for our cars. Though any competent exhaust shop will have no problem fabbing up a dual exhaust for you.

the knowledge i have . you can get lower rear control arms on ebay. sway bars you can use a later b and a body units. bushings you can get polly units. the rear uppers you can make adjustable a body units work as they are adjustable. the front is a different story one company makes a tubular set and its big money. the other options are run the one where you build your own from parts and bolt them together like the speedway stock car arms. there is an ebay upper that fits and ive not tested it but second gen camaro uppers are also supposed to fit but ive not tried that as well. springs well you can pretty much find a springs for racing use that will work. not going to say it will fit but you can find a coil for anything. exhaust you could use a a body for the most part may have to extend some things but id just get a shop to bend my stuff up. these cars are not alot differnt than a second gen a body just longer and bigger bolt pattern wheels for the most part. these cars dont handle that bad for there size though. box your lowers change the bushings run performance shocks and add a rear sway bar its going to handle as well as say a newer crown vic. also going to have as much power and be slightly lighter. what are your goals with the car? if you want a just good all around driver thats a cheap recipe on these things. boxing is free basically if you can weld. shocks are about 100 bucks, bushings about 200 and i think i paid under 50 for that sway bar. and keep the rubber in the upper rears. im guessing its a 350 car which in a way is good yes the big block is more powerful but you got the 8.5 rear and the th350 which is much easier to upgrade if you want deeper gears and a overdrive. a truck 700r4 is bolt in with a 30 dollar bop adapter and the 8,5 rear is same parts as most other gms. my goal is just handle as good and run as good as most modern cars so thats what im doing along with make the 350 have about 300 ish hp. i figure thats as good with its power to weight ratio as the chargers at work.
