Does anyone have an original to check where the seams are located on the A-pillar? I'm looking for the distance down from the top of the windshield opening. I know there are no seams on the top of the roof.
    Thanks

I have an original vinyl top but I'm not sure when I can get to it because my car is at my grandpas house until I clean out my garage to make room.

Thanks. Let me know what you find when you can get to it. Photos would be great. Might be best to PM me.

Steve, will this help?? Maybe you can scale it from the windshield trim width.

Nelson, that sure looks original. I'm surprised to see the lengthwise seams on each side of the sunroof. The spare SunCoupe roof I have does not have the front to rear seams. The entire vinyl top is one piece. It may have had seams on the A-pillars but I cut them off at the roof and don't remember. It also appears to be original, I cut it off a car in a junkyard in the early 90's.
I'm trying to plan the new vinyl top for my SunCoupe and want to get the seams correct. Some of the literature I have shows the lengthwise seam also.

Steve, this car was all original. Everything I could tell it had not been touched in any way. It was one of the most loaded cars I have come across.
