Hey guys, I need parts for my 72 Buick Electra 225 2-door, mainly need the drive shaft but I also need the Crossmember support for the tranny and the top front grille. If anyone happens to have these spare parts please let me know, thanks a bunch.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself (and your Buick) in the Wet behind the ears?? section of the board :Smarty:

Contact board member "garyd" (Gary) from NC, he has a lot of early to mid-70's 4-door Electra parts from derby cars:

I don't believe that a '72 has a two-piece driveshaft. You have cv joints, but the actual driveshaft is one piece. I may have one in my collection; I'll look it up in my interchange book and let you know. Thanks, Bob.

I forgot to mention that in my post, Bob is right: One piece drive shaft :TU:

I have a good driveshaft that came out of my '72 Electra hanging in the garage. I certainly have no use for it.
Not sure what to ask for it. PM an Offer?

David, can you get a measurement from the center of the front u-joint to the center of the FIRST rear u-joint on the driveshaft, NOT the one on the back of the CV-joint? I have a few with the rear cv, but I'll need a length to get the right one. They also have a round flange that bolts to the rear end. Thanks, Bob. Edit- I see that Dale has posted that he has one. If that doesn't work out, let me know.
