Sold to the first person in line?
    Sold to someone local?
Or maybe the seller decided to keep the car....

Maybe so many ppl jumped in line so quickly that he knew he was leaving too much $ on the table.

Yes, I was first in line and spoke with Mike the first day he posted his 72 GS convertible for sale. We spoke for 20 minutes all seemed good, he knew I was serious and said he had no sentimental value to the car. He was going to pull out the car the next morning to take pics. I logged on the next day and by around 1:00 the thread was deleted. I tried calling and texting with no luck. The first thing I thought was someone in line jumped me, but I can't prove that. If he decided not to sell, he could of easily just posted that. I saw he had logged on around 12:40 the next day, I guess that's when he deleted the thread. It bothered me at first but didn't want to start a thread on it, but since it's out there, this is all I know.

This was the car. I saved the pics and spent the night searching for parts I wanted to buy for this car, oh well.

Maybe aliens abducted him, and then saw the car and fell in love with it and abducted it too? :)

Maybe the aliens also thought it was a 1971 model year GS 350?

Let's hope they will find out that it's a 1972 car (using www.vindecoder.mars) and post it again in the Cars For Sale section of this board [IMG]
