70 heads on Craigslist

I have 2 sets of 455 heads, one set is 1970, the other 1973. I got them with the car in 1999. Probably haven't been on a car in 30+ years. Nobody wants them as far as I can tell.

That Craigslist ad looks like Bruno's general area.

In any case, someone here saw that I had the heads and PM'd me yesterday. They are sold. I still have a set of 73 heads.

 

There was no response to the PM in my inbox. I just looked at it again, there is nothing there, no response. Have a look,

Maybe you messaged me, but it didn't register on my end. If you did message me back, that reply should still be in your inbox. Please stop telling me I disappeared. I'm on V8 everyday. I'm subscribed to this thread. I get alerts when someone posts on a thread I have posted on. I get alerts when someone PM's me or replies to a PM I initiated. I'm easy to get in touch with. My e mail is in my signature. All the Buick guys on Long Island know me, have my cell #, and see me most cruise nights across Long Island. How is it I have never seen you or your car at any cruise night or Buick show?

The 70 heads I had are good heads. I would have practically given them to you. The guy that bought them got a great deal. He PM'd me last night, and I replied.

I then PM'd you on August 20th, but instead of responding to the PM, you responded on the thread (8/21), a thread I never posted on, hence, I never got an alert to check the thread. I never saw that post. I PM'd you so that it would just be between you and I. I figured you weren't interested when I didn't hear back on the PM.

I saw you were still interested in 70 heads, and posted in post #5. Then in post #7, and then you responded in post #10 stating that you contacted me. I saw all the posts in this thread because I was subscribed to it, and got an alert, so I went and looked in on the thread. I was not subscribed to Blk69GS' thread because I never posted on it. I never saw your response. If you had just responded to the PM I sent you, you would have had those heads for a song and a dance.

Meanwhile, another member on V8 saw my post about the heads I had, and PM'd me. I responded to his PM on October 12th, and sold the heads to him. That was nearly 2 months after I PM'd you.

At no time were my heads ever on a Craigslist ad, or an ad on V8. I offered them to you alone via the August 20th PM.

I was trying to help you, that's all. The V8 member that bought my heads had no knowledge of any of this, he simply saw my post in the thread in October and PM'd me.

No worries. Normally, I keep track of all the threads I actually post in. The only involvement I had with that thread was taking the pictures of Bruno's heads with my i phone, and e mailing them to him so he could post them. Other than that, the thread held no interest to me, and I didn't post in it.

The heads I have are sold to member Pilgrim. I will either run them up to John Csordas next trip I make up there, or he will come down and pick them up. If he changes his mind, I will keep you in mind.
