Not an original GSX. 83k miles. 4spd Muncie with Gear Venders overdrive unit. Rebuilt engine with performance cam, long tube headers, true dual exhaust and Flow Masters. New front rotors, pads, calipers, ball joints, upper and lower control arms. New coil springs and KYB shocks all the way around. Chrome rear differential cover. Modern radio with vintage appearance. This car sounds amazing and has plenty of power to make you smile. Excellent condition inside and out, especially for a 50 year old car. Driven weekly to keep it from just sitting in the garage. Title in hand. No rush to sell as I don’t need the money. No tire kickers. If you don’t have $39,500 to purchase the car, please don’t waste our time. Video of car running below.
If it were closer I would go have a look. Sounds like a solid car, but would need to go over it real well. No trunk pics, so wonder what it looks like. No info on the rear either.
I called and talked to the seller. The car is a '70 GS455 4-speed built in Kansas City. The seller states that the car was built with the 4 speed. It was originally Bamboo Cream and now has a rebuilt '72-'76 455 engine.
No. I could work with that. A few options too many, but easily removed. I have an actual white 70 GS455 4-speed that I am doing the same thing with. I also have a white 70 GS455 automatic that will be more of a street strip, but still get the GSX treatment. Twins more or less.
I spoke with the owner and its a real GS BB and should be a 4 speed too. Its a driver that should run good but needs a cosmetic restoration at least. He is totally firm on price.
