I'm getting ready to hook up the wiring harness in my 1970 GS 455 with air. This connector was not attached to anything and taped up. Wire colors are pink and pink with a black stripe. There is a large resistor at the back of the connector. It's by the alternator wires. Any ideas as to what this is?

Goes to the TCS solenoid that is mounted on the passenger side front carburetor bolt (on a 4 bbl).

TCS switch...the solenoid on top of the carb.

Off topic: it appears you're going for the correct look, judging by the Corbin clamp and Wittek tower clamp.

That said, the Buicks came with ribbed heater hoses devoid of any stampings. I got mine from Ground Up before TPP (and subsequently Todd) started offering/carrying them.

Thanks! This car had a Holley carb on it in 1986 and my dad swapped to a QJet off of a 73 Electra. He must have deleted the TCS solenoid. I just couldn't find what it went to. 20210214_181231.jpg

I've already bought some hose and clamps from Todd. I'm a big fan of the stock look.
