70-72 vert. trunk filler panel repair

Wanted to know if anyone has replaced the trunk filler panel on their vert.
I may need to replace mines due to rust. Does anyone have pictures and did anyone use the chevelle panel. How do you remove the chrome trim on top any tips or advice.

Are you talking about the pinchweld moulding? If so, you can put the conv. top slightly down so you can get at the screws from the underneath side.

 

yep, ok what about the filler panel itself. Is a chevelle panel the same ?

No sre if they are the same or not.

 

The panel between trunk deck and top that connects the 1/4s is the same
