    SmittyDawg Need another garage....

The Holy Grail of body parts.... Hope you find a set. :dollar: :dollar: :dollar:

Most folks end up cutting off the lower half of hartop quarters and using those.

Oh....if you find a set, ask the guy if he has another set for me!

I have 3 NOS conv. quarters, 2 RH and 1 LH which I would consider selling if the price was right.
I was saving a pair for our 72 Stage 1 conv., but it really could get by with just a RH. I'm going to be selling the car anyway:pray:if I'm lucky enough to find a buyer.

That's what I'll probably wind up doing. I can get premium Repro hardtop full quarters for $699 each, including shipping to my door.

What would the right price be for one of the RH quarters?

One sold at BG last year I think it brought 2900 or something close I know someone here knows for sure.

$2700 was the sell price for the NOS convertible quarter panel at BG...of course that has little bearing on the price today.

I disagree to a point as these are the proverbial chicken lips :)

That was kinda my point....so there's no disagreement

Probably the "crown jewel" of all NOS 70-72 Buick GS parts.

I was told if I ever needed something like that to just head out west to AZ or the like and find a coupe sitting in a bone yard for a $1000 or so.

I can find good GM metal, but for a coupe. I have a convertible.

Lots of people tell me that the coupe quarters can be modified to fit a convertible, but I've yet to talk to someone who has actually done this successfully.

All you have to do is talk to Kleiner and/or Mark Reeves. Both have done this successfully and probably Joe Castragano as well.

PS. There is a member here who just had this done on his convertible (at another shop). Maybe he will answer this post.

Are you looking for new or used? I have a 71 Skylark convertible body/frame if you are close to Texas.
