70 71 72 Skylark GS Convertible Rear Window Defogger--Complete Factory Setup--Pretty rare -- I removed this from a well optioned 70 Skylark Convertible-- this is everything you will need to add this option to your convertible. Fairly easy to install-- the cutouts behind the rear seat are already there.
And a useful addition too-- those back widows often fog up.
Comes with dash bezel, switch, all uncut factory wiring from fuse box to switch to defogger, metal screen (points into the well liner), plastic duct, defogger motor and housing, mounting gasket and all fasteners. Nice shape-- nothing broken, fan works smoothly and quietly on high and low speeds.
I have also included pictures from the Chassis Service manual of the mounting behind the rear seat for reference.

A rare and useful option-- $595 plus shipping from CT 06410.

If I was into adding options... Never see these complete. My '71 GS convertible was special ordered by a lady in Pittsburgh as a DD & well optioned. Surprisingly she didn't order this option. Not in line but tempting.

Good! Mine is a '71 so no docs as to what it came w/orig. & tempting to add. Got the orig. dealer invoice & damn if they didn't itemize the options like nearly every other one I've seen.

In case you do not know 70 is different than 71-72 convertible rear defogger.

This is a true oddball, if only I had a convertible, and priced right too.

The plastic tube is the difference. Do not quote me but I think the 71-72 will fit the 70 but not the other way around. The emission 71-72 canister is why the change. Hope this helps. A Very rare option....
