Saw a 69 special wagon, light blue with a white interior. Engine compartment picked through, but the sheet metal didn't look bad. Also had a complete dual-acting tailgate. Won't get back there until Saturday, so stuff may be gone, but if you need anything, holler. Actual U-pull prices plus actual shipping plus $1 actual admission. -- Steve
'69 Special Stationwagon Steve, I'm interested in the stainless trim piece that runs along the top of the tailgate, if it's in decent condition..........John
Do I need to open the tailgate to pull it? Couldn't lower it when I was there the other day. Is there a lock on the dual-acting tailgates? Bumpers and most trim seemed good, too. -- Steve
I know Paul Cassidy's frined is DESPERATLY seeking door panels from the rear doors (maybe fronts too ??) specifically from a 68/69 special (not sportwagon) - Also grab the interior B and C pillar covers and rear cargo side panel covers if they're nice. The tailgate has to have the window lowered completely for it to be able to open
Pulled a bunch of parts for Ken. Going back tomorrow AM for more. Rear window has an inch wide series of scratches in it, right down the middle, top to bottom. Must have been a pad missing. Could buff out, no idea. Nice exterior trim other than the tailgate piece. sawe one pillar cover -- forgot it. I'll get it tomorrow too. Anything else? -- Steve
'69 Special Deluxe Parts Car Steve, How bad is the stainless piece at the top of the tailgate? I'm still interested. Also the rear window , it might be able to be buffed out. Let me know....Thanks........John
Ken -- Rear bay interior panels ($6 x 3), passenger rear door panel ($6), sweet driver's remote mirror ($10), real nice rear door outside handles (no time to yank fronts yet) ($6 x 2), two perfect window cranks (knobs are still clear) ($3 x 2), rear bumper hinge chrome cover ($3), steel inside cover for same ($1), 3 rear headliner cross pieces ($0), two real nice rear black handi-mats (2x $5), chrome back seat latch bar (rough) ($0). Total so far: $66.00 plus shipping. Can still go back for black seat belts (dirty but I think they'll clean up) and front exterior handles (nice) if you want. Handles are $6.00 each. Not sure what the belts run. Don't have to take the handi-mats or the window cranks if you don't need them. those I can get rid of elsewhere. :Brow: John -- I hate to even type this, but the rear window glass was gone. Only thing on the car anyone else has pulled. Sorry Sorry Sorry -- but I just couldn't pull ti yesterday and possibly get stuck with it given the scratches. My bad. (No retrun allowed on the glass.) I pulled the rear door trim. I can return it if you do not need it. Picture attached. $7 plus shipping. Alan -- Grabbed the front / windshield pillar covers. Pictures attached. Pearl, not perfect, no cuts or nicks, just dirty. $2 each to whoever might want them. -- Steve
'69 Special Deluxe Wagon Parts Steve,...........I'll take the back tailgate trim piece...and both front window pillars. Shipping is to zip code 23455..........Thanks......John
Car has a 1111964 8M18 distibutor in it, which I assume is stock for whatever engine it had in it. Probably $30 plus shipping, if anyone is interested. John -- Gonna take a week or so to figure out shipping. Ken -- Seatbelts are gone. Grabbed the rear center latch-- freebie -- but the fender "ports" don't look any better than what you have already. Have a 70 skylark in the local yard with blue seatbelts and shoulder straps. Do they interchange for your car? -- Steve
1969 Special Deluxe Parts Wagon Hi Steve, Wondering if you had the shipping charges for the tailgate trim and the front window pillars yet? Thanks..........................John
