Good morning everyone I did a initial search didn't find too much information so here we go.

69 Buick Skylark has no heat I changed the thermostat no heat

I opened up the doors under the dash I can see the heater core no heat

the blower motor is blowing no heat

the blower motor chirps a little bit when I turn the fan on medium but I can feel the cold air on my face

    The fuse is fine

    any suggestions would be lovely

    thank you

Feel your water hoses up and downstream of your heater control valve. If the downstream hose is cold change the valve.

Another issue to check is to make sure the vacuum line to the heater control valve is operational. This response assumes that you set up is similar to a 70 model.

Also, feel your heater hoses at the firewall. If one hose is hot and the other isn’t then your heater core is clogged.

I bypassed the heater valve and 1 hot 1 cold hose. I'm now searching for heater core threads, getting ready to go under the dash...but first: HW

Make sure the radiator is not low on water. That can make a difference too.

Look for the thread giving instructions about switching directions for the one fastener to the inside.

Before you tear the car apart replacing the heater core, try to flush it out in both directions.
