Alright folks, take it easy on me with this one. I rebuilt my Q-Jet (original) replaced hoses and all the the other main replacement stuff, hot washed/blasted/painted the intake manifold and valve covers, changed the oil, flushed/changed the coolant, ran all the old gas out and replaced it with high octane and used used sea foam/mystery oil in gas and oil and replaced the distributor cap/components/plugs and wires.

The idle mixture screw broke (waiting on new one) and the original coil choke screw hole is stripped, but it still works on the carb.

I am green on carb rebuilding and there are many adjustments I need to make and the timing is off.
BUT, she was running and idling pretty well (even with the half ass carb and **** timing) before and now if I take my foot off the gas she just STOPPS! She doesn't even smoke anymore! I just want to drive her down the damn driveway for once!

I feel like there should be more oil in the valve covers when I take the cap off and finger around, but the stick still shows the same amount when cold.

    Lay it on me gents.....
