Ok, just finished reading all the threads on the signal fuse blowing. What I have going on is no signal input to the front markers, both side. But, have marker lights when the light switch is in the ON and PARK locations at the switch. I had to replace both front marker sockets and new halogen bulbs. Everything is grounded (grounds through the housing to the bumper).

Replaced the entire front lighting harness, cleaned ground locations. Still the same issue, blows the fuse after a few minutes.

Moved to the rear harness, unplugged the rear harness - no change, blows the fuse. Replaced all bulbs cleaned the housings, replaced a couple sockets that were going out. Tail lights are much brighter now, hazzard light works, license plate light works, get turn signals and brake lights. But can tell the fuse is going out again.

I did have full grown adults in the back seat before this all started. Going to pull seats next and get into the intermediate harness to inspect.

Any ideas on the front markers???

Pulled out the seats, carpet and dash last night (90* and humid....fun). nothing obvious. Rear taillights "seem" to work. Light function is fine, hazard and signal seems to work, but R side passenger indicator is dim on the dash. I did find that the intermediate harness was loose on one side, reinstalled correctly with no change in the situation. Wondering if the circuit board is weak or if the steering column wiring is failing.

I'll get the dash pod out tonight and take a good look at that, also going to pull the indicators on the front bumper and check bulb function. Should be able to do a jumper wire to each pin at the connector and get a solid light (bench test was fine when I did the sockets).

Known issues in the lighting: Under dash courtesy lights are bad. Will replace with fresh bulbs. Dome light wiring went bad years ago (melted), never looked into fixing it until now (was back in 2007). Since the head liner needs to come down to get at the wiring.

    Anything I'm missing here?

You said you replaced the front marker sockets and halogen bulbs. Do you mean led bulbs? If you put led's in the side markers, depending on which way you installed the bulbs(if they are 194's), they will either light with the turn signals or the lights, not both. The current to the side marker bulbs switches the hot and ground when lights are on or off and most led's only work one way. Did you ever notice that when working properly, the turn signal and the side marker lights flash at the same time with the lights off and alternate with the lights on? Try a normal bulb and see if it works ok. Did you accidently switch the wires around?

Max Damage I'm working on it!

You say it blows the fuse after a few minutes?

Does that mean the turn signals work in the interim?

I would NOT use halogen bulbs as they can draw more current and could cause a blown fuse. There is likely a short or partial short somewhere in the turn signal circuit.

It sounds like you have replaced a lot of stuff. troubleshooting the issue before replacing parts is a better approach in my opinion.
