Ahhh Gord you got me melting buddy that thing looks sooo sweet:cool::cool:. I love that top, does it have a checkered pattern to it or is it the lighting in the pic?

Really excited myself, the wife is even coming around lol...
I never noticed the checker pattern until I saw the picture, it must be the lighting? Still playing with emblems and maybe some blackout in the hood scoop area and lastly coil overs once I get the ride height correct, Work in progress as you guys all know, we are all locked down in Ontario, with nothing else to do.

I like the hood scoop and tach. I’ve been wanting to do something similar to my 70, I was thinking of 70 style scoops in reverse as heat extractors. The hoods on these full size cars is a huge amount of clean real estate.

On the backside of my scoop there’s a punch plate filler so under hood heat will escape. I have seen a picture of a Riv on the internet with 70-72 scoop section. Like you said they have a lot of hood and the scoop kinda suits it. Go for it...

Car is gone to glass shop for headliner and front and rear glass. Been playing around with some pin striping. Once I get the car back will be weighing the front wheels so I can get the coil overs ordered up and get rid of the solid rods holding the car up. It’s a bit stiff for our rough roads. Its Cameo cream for 69 i am digging the blackout as well. The big cars 20210501_185249.jpg should have come with a rear swaybar. This should help the body roll

Yeh that's sweet:cool:. I hear ya on the rear bar. I put an Addco front bar on the Riv last summer when I put on the quick ratio big car 808 steering box from Tom t (teleiv). I'm going to order a rear bar for it this year hopefully either from Tom or Addco directly.

I did install a quick ratio from Tom T, and do have the front bar as well. Can’t wait to hit the road and see how it handles. Cheers

You got tubular arms and coil overs too so that should help out alot. I'm going to redo all the body and suspension bushings/joints along with a rebuilt driveshaft that should help me out some, and like I mentioned earlier possibly add a rear bar. Let me know if the rear bar is a substantial/ noticeable upgrade or not.

10-4, I was told by an experienced racer that the rear bar controls the front of the car, I don’t know if that’s true but am sure it will help,
