Going to be changing back to my original engine in my Ramrod over the winter, and thought I'd offer the current engine in the car up for sale while it's still running in the car. I won't need it for the other projects, but sure could use the funds to complete the other two cars. This engine has been in my car for the past 2 years while mine has been down with the cam problem. Very little use only at our races for the past 2 seasons. (Maybe 50 passes).

It's a numbers match original 68-70 NOS short block that was originally a backup for an old sponsored race car that was never used. Standard 4.057 bore, factory W31 308 cam. Only non stock items are TRW forged flattops, and a high output Melling oil pump and Toro pan. Heads are real W31 #5's (correct for 68-69, not for 70) with all the correct W31 valves, springs, retainers, etc. Stock rockers, etc. with a competition valve job. Lower compression that factory due to Felpro thick had gaskets.

Selling it as a long block from the oil pan to the intake (68/69 cast iron) with waterpump but less all accessories that stay with the car (carb, fuel pump, distributor, brackets, pulleys, etc. Does include the rare W31 damper in excellent condition. (There's $500+ right there).

For sale now at $2500 firm until I put it away for the winter.
