I don't get power to the headlights
    No high no low

    Running lights work
    Tail lights work
    Side markers work.

    I have no oem.horn relay
I double checked all grounds and sockets

    No power to the dimmer
The light switch has 12V on the brown/white= that should be the rears I guess.

No power to the red lead when ignition is on.

However doesn't the red lead supply Power to the front markers and running lights?
If so I don't know why hi and low don't get power.

12lives Control the controllable, let the rest go

I had an issue with the plug coming off the dimmer switch under the carpet. Headlights would go out. Something to check.

You should have power to that red wire at all time..
You need to trace down why that red wire has no power.

Does anybody have a 68 wiring diagram?

I have power to the brown /tail but not the red I am really confused.
Could I just splice into it directly from. The battery?

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

No, do not do that, you risk energizing the circuit with no protection, and without the fuse links or any other protection with your current wiring, you are in dangerous territory.

You need a '68 Shop manual.

ToddGS sells a laminated schematic, but it lacks a few items that are present in the shop manual as well as the detail diagrams on specific wiring points that are very helpful. But it is great for most work.

What specifically do you need? I can post images from my manual to help. And answer questions.

Why would anyone eliminate the fusible links? You definitely don't want that nice car to go up in flames.
