Thank you for the kind words.

I bought this car when looking for a car trailer. The GS was on the trailer and the previous owner was frustrated with a recent rebuild that went badly. I bought the car and trailer as is. At the time, I was in the engine rebuilding equipment business, and my buddy managed an engine parts warehouse. We figured we could fix the loud rod knock and turn it in 30 days (turned out to be 10-10 bearings on a 20-20 crank!) What could go wrong?

That was 40 years and many $$$$$$ ago. I've had a lot of fun with this car but its time to move on. Hopefully the new owner will appreciate an "old school" build!

Yea, I also struggle with that addiction. If I had more space Id have more Buicks. They say the first step is admitting you have a problem!

Maybe I should put the 68 GS back on the street and sell my 72 GS455 cruiser???? 72 GS455.jpg

    Hi Chris,
Not sure what your question is. If its regarding selling my 72 GS-455..I honestly hadn't thought about it. I am downsizing and don't have room for all the toys (68-GS,72-GS, 71 C20) and the 24' car hauler. I'm open to suggestions?

Curious the details on the '72. Orig color & orig. no vinyl top? Auto? Bench/buckets? Etc? Not really in the market but another '72 is on my bucket list and I like the color.

    Hi Dano,
Sorry for the delay, but I have a few irons in the fire at the moment. My 72 is a very nice rust free car with 66K miles on it. It has a mildly modified 455 in it but I have the numbers matching 455 under the bench. The build sheet enclosed will answer most of your questions. It has 17 X 9" ( American wheels with with new 245/45 and 255/50 Nittos. I have the original 14" wheels also. It has Koni's, F&R Sway bars and headers with 3" Flowmaster pipes. Its really a nice driver. I haven't thought about selling it but I would consider it if someone has to have it. Have a great weekend!

Never get tired of seeing a 1971 -72 Buick GS N25 rear bumper, best butt in the business.
