I've had a few requests for different years of bumper brackets and the latest was for the 68/69 Skylark/GS. These are for the front bumper and consist of the main bracket, the extension bracket and the outer braces, (6 parts total). The total weight savings for the aluminum brackets vs. the OEM steel is just under 8 lbs.
I have 3 sets available. When they're gone, I may or may not make more, depending on demand. They are $285 plus shipping for the set of 6 pieces.

(I'm going to only list them on V8 Buick for a few weeks. If they don't sell I'll be listing them on FB Market Place and possibly eBay.)

P.S. I also have the front and rears for 1970, the rears for 64/65 and the fronts for 64.
Please note....... these are all intended to be used for drag racing applications and only for fiberglass bumpers.

Steve will these work on the stock steel bumper? If so I will buy a set

Starc, I've had people use the 1970 brackets on steel bumpers, (even though I don't recommend it), and as far as I know they worked, but I can't sell them saying that they'll work because I have no experience or direct evidence that they will. Sooooo........... I can only say that they'll work for fiberglass. What you do with them is up to you...... maybe you should get a fiberglass bumper and have it chromed, then these would work perfect!!! LOL

Would you be making the rear by chance? Would like to buy a set if possible.

I run both front and rear alu brackets on my 70 with chrome bumpers (steel) and they work fine.

I've had a few requests in the past, but no one has sent me the OEM brackets to copy. If you're interested in doing that, I can make some sets up. Do you know if the 71 and 72 are the same?

'71 & '72 rear brackets are the same. I think fronts may be different. I'll check when I have a minute. It may be just clearance for the rubber strips on '72 that makes them different.

You mentioned that you have 64/65 rears and 64 fronts. What I would like is 65 fronts. Are they different from 64 fronts?

    Thanks,
Not sure what your time frame is, but I'll try to get to them soon.

One BIG issue that I'm having is the price and availability of aluminum right now. If it keeps going up I'll be forced to add a "surcharge" to all my aluminum products to covers costs........ it's starting to get crazy!!

65 fronts must be different because the bumpers are quite different...... but then again I don't have first hand knowledge of this. I'll make the same offer that I've made to others in the past...... send me a good pair of 65 front brackets and I'll make some up. Your steel brackets will be returned with the new aluminum ones.

But again.... at this point I can't guarantee that the price will be the same because of skyrocketing aluminum costs....... not to mention the ability of getting it in a timely fashion.
I'll do what I can do...........
