67 Skylark. Center support assy and hood latch

    This is the piece that goes from top to bottom of the center of the core support. The hood latch is at top.

    My hood latch is pretty loose, but maybe I can peen things over to tighten up, but the center support has been bashed any number of times over the years.

    Are these re popped? Can a chevy or olds support work?

    Somebody have one that isn't mangled?

    Awesome. Did you get a chance to find that star wars emblem you mentioned?

    Curious, why does the GS400 get the criss crossed bars tensioned in front of the radiator, but the skylark doesn't. What purpose do these serve?

    maybe to make the CS more stable to accommodate for the condenser and heavy duty radiator?
