See if you all can make a quick clarification for me...

I'm trying to get the glass back onto the regulator assembly in my 67 Skylark. It fell off some time ago, and the glass has just been resting on the lower stop.

Upon examination, looks like the lower sash should be spot/tack welded to the regulator roller channel. Is that the case? The roller channel is still running the rollers on the regulator at normal functionality.

Reference the attached photo - the bottom sash pictured above and the channel just below.

If I need to pull the channel out and the glass, any idea how to template the positioning of the channel onto the glass/slash? Dimensions? I don't possess a welder and would need to pay a fabricator to do it.

I am in the process of installing new door glass. I used butyl sealant to attach the sash to the glass. Here are some pictures that should help.
It looks like you need to remove the glass and reinstall the sash.

Apologies, cause I should have clarified - my Skylark is a 2 door post. The material posted above must be for a hardtop?

Even so, I am now guessing the sash rests atop the channel, as indicated in the diagram, on the 2 dr post as well. I looked down into the door well and don't see any clips or anything, or any parts at all which might have separated from the glass mechanisms.

Based on the geometry of the glasses travel up and down the slides, it is impossible that the slide track and sash are fastened. The sash, if it indeed rests atop the slide channel, must slide back and forth as the window is actuated up and down.

PM me your email and I will send a pdf copy of the entire 1967 Fisher body service manual. That should help you.
Yes, the pictures here refer to a hardtop
