My pedal seems very high with little travel till it engages. Pedal sits higher than the clutch pedal. Makes it a but hard to get your foot on the pedal. Not sure if this is normal or can be adjusted. perhaps the master cyl rod is out of adjustment? Been a long time since I have had to work on manual brakes.
    Any input would be great

The push rod from the pedal to the back of the master cylinder has lock nuts, disconnect the clip holding the pin at the pedal adjust to "drop fit", or break the nuts loose and turn the rod. (the rod will spin in at the back of the MC piston.)

There may be two holes in the brake pedal arm. For manual brakes, use the upper hole for more leverage against the rod and cylinder.
