I managed to get my hands on a few '67 wildcat center consoles-- either don't have tachs, or have broken tachs.
what buick tach's fit? I see a few online that look like they mount on the steering col., but are in a chrome shell.. the look basically the same as what's in the '67 center console once the shell is removed... anyone know? or do I need to stick with the version from the '67?

The knee knocker/steering column mount tachs can be disassembled and the guts installed into the console cups with a few modifications.
If you just want something period correct, the 66 Chevelle tach is repo'd:

thanks. The real buick tachs are expensive!
I have a non-working tach... how hard are they to service?
