    Hi all,

In need of some help here. Does anyone know where I can get a bushing for my '66 Skylark GS clutch linkage [edit] or what will work as a replacement [end edit]? It is the one on the engine side of the clutch pedal pushrod. There are some pics of it below. What's in there now is the sleeve from the original bushing wrapped in (hehe) duct tape.
    Thanks for any help

Yeah, you'll have to improvise and make something up. It's just a rubber bushing with a metal sleeve. You should be able to find a rubber-something-or-other at a hardware store. Look in the drawers of small parts for some rubber feet or bumpers. You might have to trim it or drill it out to fit. Mine was 'repaired' with what looked like a piece of fuel hose. Just make sure you use washers on both sides of the bushing so the rod can't pull thruogh....
As Frank suggested, a machinest could make something up for you....maybe from a plastic like Delrin....

The bushing looks the same as 68-72 Z-bar bushing. I use a GM bushing and trim the ends(very minor). GM Part # 3872955 - worth a try. Mike Garrison also sells these.
