My 65 Skylark Convertible has a bent rear bow. Top goes up and down fine but the top has pulled loose where bow is bent. People want a lot of money for a used convertible frame. ($400 to $1500) All I really need is that back bow. Do you think that the bow can be straightened and remain functional? It's kind of bent until there is a kink in the bow. Or am I struck with finding a complete frame someplace. I actually won this car in a raffle LOL. So I have only owned for about a month.
Welcome to V8BUICK. Post a few pictures of the car and also the bent bow. I have repaired them before. It will depend on the severity of the bend as to what is more practical.
Sorry for slow response I had to get to the car. Upon closer examination I see that the bow has bent enough to crinkle. Thanks in advance for your comments.
