65 Carter 4 Barrel

    This is a Carb off a 65 300ci Skylark I purchased,as far as the former owner knew it was all original 4 door car and my question is the Carter has the numbers 4055s,from what I have been reading here lately this is not a 65 Carb.It really does not matter to me but can someone shed some light on which year and engine this carb is for.

    Bruce,

    Motors Manual says the carb is for '66.

    4055s is from a 66 Buick--Special/Skylark/LeSabre--with 340 and AT

    Thanks fellas,so is the CFM the same on this as the 65 300ci one?
