Looking to install the original generator on to my 215 engine but I'm at a lose as to where the commutator end mounts to? I might not have all the brackets to do this. Does anyone have a pic of the generator insitu for me to look at?
    Thanks

What you need is a "chassis service manual", they were originally sold through dealer parts departments.
You can find them on the internet for sale usually $10-$40, eBay would be the quickest place to find one.

Keith I have the service manual but there is nothing showing the generator mounting? I know where it goes as I have the front bracket but for the life of me not able to see how the rear mount attaches to the engine...possible bracket is missing. So a pic would tell me eveything.

Well I am a bit surprised that the chassis manual don't show it. My 63 manual shows the alternator bracket that's why I suggested that. My bad.

Not sure if any other members here is running a generator on their car.

All good Michael, I went with an alternator as my generator had a broken mounting tab, but thanks for the offer.
