Our 62 Nailhead needs a rebuild. The shop we chose has rebuilt them before and has dealt with Russ at Centerville auto repair for knowledge and parts. Cyl 8 has a broken exhaust valve. .
And…………? can’t make any guesses on number 8 until the head gasket, piston and cylinder wall get’s looked at.
Hello, good luck on your 62. I rebuilt mine a while back. It came out very good (so far). It looks like you have factory AC. I was wondering if you'd be willing to post a picture of the lower fan shroud mounts on the radiator? I've been trying to find a set of those and I don't even know what they look like. I have the assembly manual for the car but it's a drawing and at a weird angle.
Do you still have the brackets? I would happily buy them if you do. I would buy any other AC parts you have as well.
im not sure if i have the brackets I know my fan shroud is off a different year Buick my original shroud was removed when my dad got the cat in 1987 , we got rid of all the ac stuff.
