I've decided to convert the front brakes on my 61 LeSabre to disc brakes and wondered if i should do the rear while I'm at it. After looking around on the web a bit there doesn't seem to be many options. Any recommended? Or should i just stick with drums on the rears?
Thanks for the info. A friend suggested it and I needed to replace booster and master cylinder as well. So i figured I might as well.
I believe they were talking about it helping with the weight of the car. I might just do master cylinder/booster for now and wait on disc brakes. See if i really need em. Open to opinions in that regard.
I did ask them again and they just said more stopping power. That's probably the best course of action. Get it up and going, inspect brakes, and go from there. Thanks.
