To All... This is an invite for all BPG members or prospective members to attend the 5th Annual Pistons Picnic OCTOBER 11TH 2008. This meeting is an informal gathering of local auto enthusiast at my home in Goodlettsville TN. It's an opportunity for all to take a break from the summer car shows and race scene, have some chow, and visit with others. It's always a great time for those who attend. This year I thought I would invite some of my local and maybe not so local Buick brethren to attend. The more Buicks the better. Jump in your wheels, grab a covered dish, and drop by for spell. (See attachment for additional details) Your welcome to come and enjoy regardless of the running status of your Buick...just come on.
I've heard about this event and this year I plan on attending. I can't read your map though, it becomes blurry when I enlarge it.
TTT for a reminder. I attended this last year. My family had a great time. Will be there early this year and hopes on winning the "Piston Cup Trophy". :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:
Buicks are especially welcome.:laugh: The picnic will begin around 11:00 with lunch around 1:00pm...sometime around 5:00pm a music/jam session will begin and last until whenever. Every year I grab a used piston from the garage clean it up and engrave the dome with the name and date of the picnic. I pole all the drivers who bring a special interest vehicle, I give the Piston/trophy to the one they like collectively the best. (drivers choice) The guys bring all kinds of stuff; Super birds to VW's, everything from an original paint, un-restored GSX to a Frame-off Z-28, old HotRods too.
