I followed up on a Craigslist ad yesterday on some parts for my '85 LeSabre. I noticed these guys had this '56 sitting there and I thought I'd share the 'find'. I was most impressed with the fact that it is VERY complete - glass intact and all.

The story I was told is that this car was purchased at a 'storage auction' held by one of the many cave facilities here in the Kansas City area. The current owner was told that they car was driven into storage 25 or so years ago BUT the current owner has NOT tried to start it. It's over my head in terms of complexity even if I had a place to do it so I thought I'd share! I did NOT ask about a title.

The owner can be reached through the following Craigslist ad:

Unquestionably looks like a car worth saving to me!

Factory air car which is rare and it has the "J" bars on the rear bumper just above the dual exhaust outlets. They rust out and are high $$$$$

'56 was Buick's first year for A/C through the fire wall
Previous were huge trunk mount unit with two evaporators and two fans.
Also, '56 is the first year for the 4 door hardtop for the Super and Roadmaster series

Century and Special 4 door hardtop intro in '55
