49 Special Sedanette

This has been sitting around awhile and I need to thin the cars a bit. It has a 400 small block and 400 trans sits on a Cadillac chassis. The body is very straight and ready for prep and paint. The chrome is all still wrapped in the paper from the shop in Mexico. The interior is done and nice only needs minor straightening up. I bought the car as it sits and have done nothing with it. It is titled in CA with correct vintage plates.

Looks like a 48.

 

One of those quirky things. Must have had a lot of 48 parts left over.

 

Looks like they must have grafted a Cad front subframe/suspension onto the original Buick frame based on the nice fit in the rear frame segment. Any undercarriage photos? What does the rear suspension look like? Love the potential of this car.

 

Its a complete Cadillac chassis. I have not had it on a lift to take pictures.
