Hey guys,I'm in the market for a 455 engine, I have a TH400, so just the engine. Must be complete with dizzy, starter motor, etc. Not something very expensive and fancy, maybe a rough runner or something that needs a simple rebuild kit. Preferably one that's not stripped down as shipping is easier if its one big piece. Oh yeah, and it's gonna be shipped to South Africa via New Jersey, but no worries, I'll take care of all that.70-72 would be cool, stage-1 heads would be awesome, but please let me know what you have in your bomb shelter.I'm not in a hurry for it, just putting the word out. Thanks :)

U pull it i frequent has a 73 LeSabre. Was a 455 engine in it, has just been pulled. Short block is sold - but heads, intake and brackets remain. Power steering pump with bolt on pulley, and bracket, as well.

    Thanks for the offers guys!

Ginpolejumper, I see youre like 3000 miles from NJ, that might be an issue, but that's just the kind of engine im looking for.

Phillip, can send me pics? Do you have the 78cc heads on there? My email is zaponcho(at)gmail.com

Newmexguy, that's cool but I really need the block too. I can get a 430 locally dirt cheap (around $200), wondering if I should buy it just for the parts.

just posted two additional engines - both are complete long blocks
the 74 still has many of the accessories.
probably could nearly complete it, with the leftovers from the 73 being parted in el paso u pull it.
