    The list helps but you left out two critical parts: Whats your budget and what rear end gear ratio will you be running?? Also what type of car?

    Forget about girdles, halos etc. etc. That's a waste of money for the power levels you specified. Focus and put as much money into the heads as you can. A 482 is cool and all but not needed. Build a 462 the right way and it will make all the power you need to blow away the tires..

    Use the stock 455 Buick rods. You'll save money. They were decent forged rods from the factory and can handle a good bit of power. Up to 550hp I would have no problem using them..
    You will be spending some money for those power levels..you would be way ahead to buy the aluminum TA heads and and have them ported. Thing is..who knows when TA will make more aluminum heads?
    That's going to be your biggest issue..550-590 hp and "budget friendly" shouldn't be in the same sentence..too give you a example the 1.6 roller rockers you mentioned are now $1352.99 from TA.
