Does it matter which gasket to buy?

    Thanks,

TA sells a thicker gasket because the the front connecting rods get very close to the bottom of the pan. If you have a slight dent, it can hit a little. It happens every so often leading to lots of anxiety:D. The thicker gasket gives a little more clearance. I would get that one. Other than that, it doesn't matter.

    x3 on the thicker ones.

Some have said they seal better.

    Yeah. I thought I had a bad #2 on after break-in.

    "Knock knock..."

    "Who's there?"

    "Number two."

    "Oh, crap!"
