Whats the part number for a 70" speedometer cable for a 70 GS 4 speed car?

Rockauto is of no help. They list a 100" one. Not interested in wrapping it around the transmission twice.

I remember getting one someplace but I cant remember where it was!

    George,

    The 69-72 4spds carry a 72in. cable asm.

The part number changed 5 times in 20 years but all are 72 inches.

If you still need numbers I have 4 of them and will look up the 5th

number if necessary, let me know.

So a 70 4 speed car with the right angle adapter is 57", without is 70"

My parts book shows 6478175 for the 57", 6478178 for the 70"

After scouring the internet, I figured out that 68-77 4 speed Corvettes use 70" speedo cables. And they're reproduced! So I have one on order from a corvette place in Ohio. Should be here in a few days. Stay tuned

Jason, I heard those are on a Chinese container ship off LA. Don’t expect it anytime soon.

I bought the 70” that Jason more recently posted about from Zip corvette. (Bought several parts from Zip for my 73 vette when I had it. Great company).. Anyway, I have only installed my new cable at the speedo, but it looks like it will work just fine for my m20 swap. Thanks to Jason for putting in the work to research a good solution.
