    Ok Todd, In the Hurst cat. I looked at tonight show's the ball with Hurst on it too :mad: don't like that. How wide is the original ball? Thank's

    Boy all this talk of balls and nuts....lol My 73 came with a black ball,but its about 1/4 size bigger than the earlier cars. Its threads are stripped out from a previous owner and I have debated doing something to fill the hole and re-tap it to fit my shifter.Think that would work? What type of plastic are they made from? I am not that thrilled with the T handle on it.

    Lee the classic shifter ball just has the pattern on it no logo. Just make sure you get the correct one for your handle, ie course or fine thread.

    Are these Hurst shifter handles and linkages still being made available? I am interested in getting one also!

    Anyone have an update on availability?
