They would be nice if the other components were available (heads, intake). I have a pretty healthy cam (TA 413) and the roller rockers. I am not going to see much performance improvement without heads. Maybe save a little on wear but I put about 250mi/yr on the car and wear is not an issue.

Folks, The 350 hyd roller cam cores will be the first to be finished. We are hoping to have them sometime in Oct. The Nailheads should be second and this time the 455 will be last. So those that have interest please call and place your order. No deposit needed at this time. We will call you back when the part is ready to ship. The first run will only be 50 cams. This should open the door for modern day cam profiles and help all the cam wear issues. We thank all of you that have already called.
p.s. Hyd roller lifters should be around $385.00

Any thoughts on one for the 215/300/340? I might be interested in something with lift under .500 (rod clearance is a concern).

    just a couple more questions..

what's it going to cost to get the cores ground to specific profile?

and will the current cam stuff work with the roller cam, such as the grooved cam bearings...or will those be specific also?

    285 for roller cam core
    ??? for ground profile
    385ish for roller lifters
??? roller cam bearings? or reg ts grooved casm bearings
    ??? roller cam thrust plate?

any new ETA for the cores??

    thanks again
    Mike

what center line did you guy's have them set up on. Most likely for a hyd. roller not an issue But the 455 solid roller core I just got from your dad was on a 108 and we couldn't buid the cam we wanted for the blower car. We had to give up duration to get the center line out to 114. Sorry to kind of jack the thread but we are doing a small blower 350 for my sons car and if we get aggresive we may want to try a roller in it.
