Just use a thicker head gasket. There is no such thing as quench on a 350 anyways so it does matter much on gasket thickness.

The later blocks have a taller deck hight so make sure you know your actual starting deck height before you start making comp. measurements.

    one set available

    Hey guys,
If you wanted in on the 9.5-10.5 to 1 compression pistons and did not get in on this, one of those that ordered has droped out and that set is avaiable.
Also I still don't have enough of the flat top pistons sold to do that run yet.

I spoke to the local machinest about this. He asked me to ask you if there is enough meat on them that he could shave them down and give me the 8.5 ratio I'm looking for. Also, I'm still a noob on the boost thing, but I've read a little about top ring spacing to the top of the piston. Are these suitable? Thanks

    350 pistons

If anyone is interested I have two extra sets of these pistons, if bought in the next 30 days i will pass along the savings if not they will retail for $779.95.
The following specs are for the 9.5-10.5 pistons and rings
    Diamond pistons & file fit 1/16-1/16-3/16 .035 rings $694.00
13 cc spherical dish, .300 down to top of first ring land & thick deck for nitrous, ambidextrous deep valve relief's for any cam
    58 cc head 030 deck height = 9.49-1 compression
    55 cc head .010 deck height = 10.22-1
    53 cc head .005 deck height = 10.58
I am going to buy 2 extra pistons and stock them at my shop, any of the guys in on this order may buy them if they have a catastrophy for cost.

Mike, I asked this of you earlier. You've addressed the top ring question, but what about the milling?

    350 piston modifications

    Dan,
Sorry I missed that but here is what i calculated that might make that work.
If you can work on the combustion chambers to get 62 cc's and massage 3 cc's out of the pistons and get a .060 head gasket you would have 8.5 to one.

    Re: looks like a go

I'd be interested in a set at .30 over with 10.1 compression.
    Thx,
