350 36-1 trigger wheel for EFI

    That sounds like a good location for the pickup mount. On the 215 I have some horrible thing that fits into half of the space occupied by the timing marks. It was the first one I did and I did it that way to simplify figuring out the timing but that was the only reason for it to be there, and not really a good one. I like your approach better.

    Looking forward to seeing that picture. Notches in the pulley should work, provided they are large and deep enough, the pulley runs true, and you can run a tight gap. The formed metal of the pulley is not as dense and will probably not generate as strong of a signal at the same gap as the stock trigger wheel. How much you need I don't know, I've generally run a pretty tight gap.
