We ran the Goodyear Drag Radials this weekend. Best run was: 10.20 at 119 MPH (Driver lifted early so NOT to run a high 9 as his car isn't certified yet) 1.50 60 FT time (Avg 60 FT w/ Slicks is 1.42's - 1.46's) This was in a 70 Chevelle that weighs 3,500 pounds and typically runs very low 10's to high 9's. 860 HP.
http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40904 This is an old thread, they run this quick on 275's now.
I see everyone running fast on the drag radials but how about the ET street radials in a full size 3500lb + car. Anywhere from high 10's down
I'm not as fast as alot of people are. I run the Mickey Thompson street radial on Drag Week and this past Nationals. Ran the best so far 10.74 @ 124 on 25# of pressure. Car weighs 3750 and it dead hooked. 1.47 60'. David
Ive only run BFG Drag radial for the following reasons, can pick them up locally with no freight, only bracket race cheaper than any of the others, harder compound {last longer} drive back and forth to the track no problem even in the rain, easy on the drive train.
